TR (thermoplastic rubber) injection moulding
An automated process in which the raw material is injected into a closed mould. After cooling down the mould is opened and the product is removed from the mould automatically. The mould is closed again and a new injection can be started.

TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) injection moulding
A process similar to TR injection moulding, but the pressure is higher enabling the processing of TPU.

PU (polyurethane) casting
PU casting means pouring of liquid polyurethane into a mould. Solepex Ltd. has a 60 station carousel casting machine with two casting heads. This set-up enables the combination of an elastic outsole and a softer insole in a single process. Different colour combinations are also possible. Depending on the raw material mix, masses up to 1 kg per article can be produced.
